eagle-china'ssfp +opticalmodule is an upgrade sfp, sfp + is applied to 10gbit/sethernet and8.5gbit/s fiber channel system, the latest pluggableopticalmodules. thismoduleis designed to a smaller size and by lower costs andprovidesgreater access density, and ultimately improves useraccesscapacity. sfp+in order to meet the higher data rates, designed to enhancetheelectromagnetic shielding than the sfp and signalprotectionfeatures, and to develop a new powerinterfacespecification. hostboarddesigners using an edc phy ic should follow the icmanufacturer'srecommended settings for interoperating thehost-board edc phy witha limiting receiver sfp + module. thetransceiver is rohs compliantand lead free per directive2002/95/ec,now we have data-rate of6.25gbps,8.5gbps, 10gbps sfp+ optical modules.
